Now that I think about it, perhaps most dogs may be more polite than most people.
Our dog is a nice one, he likes to flop against my side and look up at me with "those eyes" then when I start petting him he breaks out with that big toothy smile. ~♥~

Speaking of pups- picking up a new addition to the family Saturday- a German Shorthair Pointer! Little guy is going to be named 'Schnitzel'

We're in the process of converting areas to 'puppy proof zones' in the house. We've already talked to our two other girls, the Basenji and Bluetick that they'd better welcome him with open arms (err..paws) or else!

Our Little dog thinks he's tough but he's one of those that bark and go hide when company comes, then thirty seconds later he starts up with cuddling with our guests. !
He is a parvo survivor and I think it affected his development a tad.

Threerun, so you will have three ? I hope they are "Polite" Our one little guy runs us ragged he is so energetic but we love the heck out of him. ~♥~ He likes to toss his toy in the air and catch it before it hits the ground. I should try to get a photo of that.

Man oh man it was wailing snow a while ago and now it's still outside. One of those Spring off and on again days I guess.
We still don't have any snow on the ground in town or in the valley though.

Well, Basenji's can be obstinate animals. Very intelligent breed but very much pig headed. If she get's miffed- she will stay miffed for a long time. But she'll get over it. The coonhound is 13 and cranky. The pup will learn very quickly that if he horses with her, he's gonna get an earful of bay and a trouncing.

GSP's need LOT'S of excercise. So I'll be spending a lot of time with this pup outdoors running him ragged and training. It's gonna be fun!

I learned, you can never really puppy proof a house. There is always something....

We had a Basenji when I was growing up. Those dogs are very... Royal.

I don't think I've ever heard a dog described as "Royal", but I immediately pictured it.

Yes. He let us live in his house. That was pretty much his entire attitude.

hey folks. how is everyone doing?
got my paperwork in the mail today for me to finish filing my appeal for disability. gotta fill that out and send it in.
mom really enjoyed her trip to Atlanta and to Phenix City, Alabama. She saw her other children and a few relatives and some friends she hasnt seen in years.
She has decided that she definitely wants to move back to be closer to family.
So today we went and got some boxes and are going to start packing up some of the knick knacks and little things and start getting that stuff out of the way.
We probably wont leave until around May or June. Hopefully they will approve my disability this time. This appeal I will be providing a letter from my last doctor, and a letter from my new doctor and from my psychologist... which I did not have before. I hope all of this helps things to go in my favor.
If not.. we just do the best we can.
We figured if when we move that we can tow the car... put the animals in the car. Bruno in back seat with windows cracked and the cats in kennels in the front seat with windows cracked. That way they will have a steady flow of fresh air. Stop every so often for pp & potty breaks.
Got to get cat carriers and harnesses and leashes for the cats so we can let them out to stretch their legs. I'm gonna make a wire guard from some fence to put between the back n front seat so Bruno wont be hopping back n forth over the seats. (fencing, wire cutters and zip ties) lol
I'll be sure to pack the truck so that I can set a bed up in the back so we can sleep at night ( in a safe area) and with Bruno there.. no one will bother us. Maybe find a campground and pull thru like you do with an RV. That way we can use the coffee maker and a fan and radio... etc.
Anyway.. if and when this all comes about.. I'll let you know because I will be taking pics and posting them on my face book for every one to see.
Other than that... it has been the same old same old stuff here.
I wish someone would tell Ole Man Winter that he has worn out his welcome... LOL
Well.. I'm off to plan and organize and make lists and more lists...
I like to be organized.
Most of the time.
Big hugs to everyone. I'll keep ya'll updated.
