I never stop looking for gold when I'm piddling around on dirt and rock whenever out in the booniess or at the river. I think it's in one's blood to hope for more in life (happy with what I've got of course), but I get excited even if all I find is a cool marble....have never found a steely, but I keep my eyes open for either gold or a cool marble...either way I feel like a winner.

everyone....I want money-y-y-y...lot's and lot's of money-y-y-....I want the pie in the sky-y-y...

Our Basenji misses the family, especially mom at night. No mom? She found the next best thing- her PJ's!!

And two seconds later....

Didn't move an inch all night!

Just stopping in to say hello. Been doing a little packing and cleaning. Got a lot more done than I thought I would.
I wish I could get outside some.. but its been rainy and dreary for the past couple of days.
Hope everyone is doing well.

MaBonnema, you talking about the "Wild One" or that gorgeous Basenji that Threerun just showed us.
What a great looking dog that one is.

Mine is just an unruly but cute mutt ! A wild one he is.

Wild One by Bobby Rydell 1960 - YouTube

Bobby Rydell did a great job on this song written by Dave Appell, Kal Mann and Bernie Lowe. They wrote other material for Bobby Rydell also. ~♥~

Wild One lyrics :

Oh wild one I'm-a gonna tame you down (tame you down)
Ah, wild one I'll get you yet (yeah yeah) you bet (yeah yeah)
You little doll all you do is play, you've got a new baby ev'ry day
But some day it's gonna be me, me and only me.
Oh oh oh oh wild one I'll make you settle down (settle down)
Ah wild one I'll clippa your wings (yeah yeah) and them things (yeah yeah)
You got the lips that I'm mad about
I got the lips that'll knock you out
C'mon wild one be wild about me.
Whoa, yeah, baby
(whoa whoa whoa)
(yeah yeah)
(wah wah wah wah)
You little doll all you do is play, you've got a new baby ev'ry day
But some day it's gonna be me, me and only me.
Oh oh oh oh wild one I'll make you settle down (settle down)
Ah wild one I'll clippa your wings (yeah yeah) and things (yeah yeah)
You got the lips that I'm mad about
I got the lips that'll knock you out
C'mon wild one be wild about me.
Whoa, yeah (wah wah wah wah)
C'mon wild one be wild about me.
--ONE MORE ONCE--(wah wah wah wah)
Ah, c'mon wild one be wild about me.
Be wild about me.

The day I took that pic of my little energetic dog I also got a photo of a Water Strider. ~♥~
I like these odd little bugs ↓ They can swim under water and fly, as well as they walk on water !

My wife, daughter and I spent the day with a group of versatile dog owners doing some training in Three Forks. Little Schnitzel got his first run at some quail! He grabbed that bird and dared any other dog to come near him.

Couldn't get him to put in a toe in the water yet, but hey- it's still cold and he's still a little guy, so I'll take the bird in the hand so to speak.

Wee….this is a fun site. One minute I'm stomping my foot to Marshall Tucker, the next minute doing the twist to Bobby Rydell.

All you grandparents are making me feel like an outsider. I'm sixty one and still not a grandpa.

There is light at the end of he tunnel though, My youngest son just got married . He is from the U.S.A., she is from Spain and they currently reside in South Korea and they don't have to work.
They play outdoors all day and party well into the wee hours.

I think they used to call folks like them "Jet Setters" I'm hoping that they end up doing a bit of Jetting in the "Boudoir" and give me some grand-kids to spoil !

I am a grammie to 3! Oldest will be 12 in July, he's a great boy, then my grandaughter will be 8 next month, such a fine young lady and my baby will be 7 in July. He's a tornado and hurricane and such a hoot. They're from my daughter who lives here in Helena, hence why I moved over here. My son is a slow learner. Maybe by next year at the ripe age of 37 he'll give me one! Yes, we are so fortunate to be able to spend time with the grandkids since raising children is a lot of work with little rewards, not really, but as granparents we can spoil and bend the rules!!
