I haven't seen any of those weird pickups. Must ride like a brick outhouse.
I'll bet you have seen them. Small, white, stub nose like a van. Seats 2 people intimately. Some of the models shown have a sort of suspension, but the older models you see running around, do not have any springs.

My mouse quit, so I had to dig out my old standby. A few years back, I was in the hospital and my room mate was confined to a wheel chair. He had very limited use of one hand and fairly good use of the other. He had a lap top computer that he would send emails to his mom with. He'd have a nurse come in and type it up for him. The use of the good hand was good, but the arm wouldn't move back and forth to facilitate mouse movement. I had heard of these thumb mouse's. So I ordered on off the internet to try it out. By the time I got it, he had been moved to the nursing home, but I still walked over and visited him every day. After a few days of trying out the mouse, I ordered two more. When they came in, I went over to his room and worked with him and his laptop, all day. I got his computer working to voice, and I set up a thumb mouse (gave him a spare in case the first one crapped eventually). He was in heaven. A couple years later, he transfered down to a facility in Casper, where his mom lived. When he left, the original thumb mouse was still working.

Anyhow, earlier, when my mouse crapped out, I dug out that old thumb mouse. Works great, except there is no scroll capabilities. You can't see it in the picture, but there is a trigger button under my finger that you squeeze and it's like a left click. Squeeze and drag with your thumb. Darn things are less than $10. Great if all you are doing is laying in a hospital bed playing solitaire.

If I've seen one o' them weird trucks, it was probably on a golf course. Or I shut my eyes quick-like so my truck wouldn't get jealous.

Thumb mouse tho, I've heard of. The mini answer to a trackball. Hate trackballs almost as much as I hate touchpads! No fine control and makes my thumb hurt. Well, to each his own rodent.

No kidding. That was close. Those little things will do 65 mph. Well, my cousin has one and he has hit 65 and still had gas pedal left, but it was scaring the hell out of him so he backed off.

They use those ugly little trucks all over Europe too.

I saw one come up one of those narrow single lane streets they have over there with rock walls on both sides of the road, and meet a bus nose to nose.

Neither one would back up, the road was so tight neither driver could get their doors open to get out, so they rolled down their windows and yelled at each other

Didn't Ford make a similar snub nose pickup at one time? I am thinking the late 50's early 60's.

(google search)

Yep, they did.

Kind of looks like one of their vans with the back cut down.
Ugly little thing

You don't remember "The Little Red Wagon"? Exactly like your picture, but it was Red and he put the engine in the back. Also, it was a Dodge. It was a dragster in the 60's. Pretty campuses as he could wheelhouses the full quarter mile. Back then they didn't use these light weight plastic/fiberglass bodies, they still made them out if good old American steel. It was a pretty good feat to stand that much iron on its tail for the length of the track.

I am on my phone, but I'll see if I can dig up a picture of it. Got a link. Copying pictures and posting with my phone is a real trick, so here is a link. little red wagon - Google Search
