She's had it for several years now, has the tremors in her left hand, and jaw when she gets tired, but she is doing really well for the most part.

She has some very good doctors in Billings she sees, they seem to really have a handle on it as the disease hasn't really progressed, and aside from that she's in pretty good health.
Thank you for the information though

My father is the one I worry about, 80 years old and thinks he's 16!!

Well, of course he's 16 again. It's that second childhood! Aren't you looking forward to it?

I have too many aches and pains from the last one!
Don't think I could live through a second

Although if you talk to my wife, she will tell you I never grew up in the first place

Hah, the closest thing to 16 is a bottle of scotch for me.

My father works way out in the back country where even cell signals are tough to get. Plus there are a lot of grizzly, cougar, black bear and wolves up there so if he did go down, it's a good bet he wouldn't last until help arrived. It's a constant worry for me, and has been for several years now.
He's a lot like Elkhunter though, if you made him stop and play it safe, it would kill him, so I feel that if he does go, he goes doing what he loved so I won't stop him until I have no choice.

It came home to me last Wednesday when it happened to me. I fell off a mountain 20+ years ago and tore a bunch of groin muscles. There was no way to get anybody into where I was, so I had to hike my butt back over the mountain to get out.

Needless to say, those muscles didn't heal right and now come back to haunt me every so often. Usually they are just super sore, but once in a while the leg goes numb and collapses under me.

When I went home last week, I got out of the truck and was walking into the house when my leg collapsed and I landed on my butt in the yard. I had to lay there for 15 minutes until the feeling came back and I could get my feet under me.

If it hadn't been a nice day or if there had been snow on the ground, I could have been in trouble.

We just can't take chances anymore, not as young as we used to be.
Thank you for understanding.

I had that surgery's and never realized the strength I have lost. its unbelievable. I have walked the driveway, every day to try and build up something. The driveway is 317 feet, ashfault to ashfaualt. I make at least ten round trips a day. It evidentially hasn't helped. I tripped and fell and simply didn't have the strength to get up. If it hadn't been for a neighbor, at 2 in the morning, hearing me, I would have succumbed to the weather. it was 30 degrees and I had shorts and a T-shirt on. Now, I am being a lot more careful.

I'll be right over. Hold the jalapenos!!

So I have a case of canned mushroom soup, from before Campbell's ruined it. Except it's been frozen. It tastes fine, but the texture is weird. Wonder if I'll die if I eat it.
