Good frozen morning all! Well, I know it doesn't compare to y'all but it's COLD here. Around 27 deg this morning. The biggest thing I guess is we got a trace of snow yesterday with heavy wind/hail/freezing rain.
Now this'd normally be no big deal except we're in ARIZONA near Phoenix where this is NOT supposed to happen.
I totally bitc*ed out my realtor last night (he's a friend) telling him "you promised us sunshine and warmth if we bought here! I want a refund!!!
He thought that was really funny! Had to bring my tomato plants inside except for the one in the ground which I wrapped in christmas lights and a sheet.
Here's to the new year with no more of this freezing stuff (you know what word I wanted to use)...
Stay safe up there and remember, generators can be a real good thing!

I just read about his passing. It's sad indeed. He understood the lessons of history.

There is always the promise of a new start! Keep us up on how it is going for you.
If you are up for the cold, North Dakota has many openings in Education I hear, just a thought
Happy New Year!

Decided to give it a try. Darn thing started just fine. So while it was warming up I come in and put on the bibs and the layers and put hand warmers in my gloves. I did about half of what I need to do and now I'm warming up with another cup of coffee. Still -4 here, wind is 20+, but it stopped snowing. I think everything now is just getting kicked up by the wind.

One bad thing, I'm wearing way too many layers to be drinking this much coffee.

Default We have sun ~♥~

We have a nice sunny day with a few light clouds and we expect it to get up into the teens today. It's about 8 deg F. in our neck of the woods this morning.

I took some photos of a few large icicles yesterday and played with them. I'll post them below. Why ? ~~~ Because I have nothing better to do !

While I'm at it here are two more new pics that I fooled with.

A knot in a hand split tamarack shake.
