Who says Today's Kids aren't smart??

At a high school in Montana a group of high schoolers played a prank on the school. They let three goats loose in the school. Before they let them go they painted the numbers 1,2,4 on the sides of the goats.

Local school administrators spent most of the day looking for #3.

Aw come on, it was funny anyhow, no matter where it happened or if it happened.

Do you know how many Parents are not letting their kids into the room while this thread is on the screen? They don't want their kids getting any ideas and frankly, this is a good one.

Yeah, figured it was apocryphal, but it's still a good story

And someone oughta do it, it'd help weed out teachers and admins who lack critical thinking!

However, one that's NOT apocryphal, and I know, cuz my sister's classmates did it... the "new" (back around 1980ish) art bulding at MSU-Bozeman has a small balcony above the main double doors. Said double doors can be removed from their hinges so big stuff can be brought in. One of the art professors lived in faculty housing, in walking distance, so didn't normally drive to work... he also had this little bitty foreign car that a gaggle of strapping lads could heave up and carry away. Imagine his surprise when one morning he arrives at work, and there's his car -- upstairs on the balcony!!

I see goats...LOL!
I am nearly delirious with all the sunshine outside today. Everything is in overdrive in the yard and I am reminding myself hourly that I cannot plant tomatoes yet...

Hope everyone has a nice Mother's day,,,even if you are a pappa.

Today was so nice that I spent most of the afternoon setting on my porch drinking ice tea and watching my Wyoming Self Propelled Lawnmower.

No, that fence is not electric, that's why I was watching the lawnmower.

Dang... my lawnmower died. Except mine's electric, not edible. Thought it was just the switch (definitely bad), found out how to bypass it, still don't work. Guess the motor croaked too.

Anyone got any thoughts on whether western wheatgrass can crowd out crested wheatgrass? Too late for this year but if I'm still here next fall I want to overseed it (winter is grass season here) and see if I can get something started that doesn't make a billion foxtails. Got so many this year it's like walking through a spike factory. I usually cut it after it dries out for the year, but that lawn mower ain't cooperatin'. And the push-mower won't cut the dry stuff.

The crested wheatgrass did pretty much crowd out the cheat grass, so that's progress at least. Been encouraging some sort of crab grass too but it comes up so much later (after everything else is already died down for the year) that it doesn't crowd out anything. Makes the smallest seeds I've ever seen, they're almost like dust. Would take about ten of 'em to make a grain of salt, no kidding.

Sorry, I just haven't been on here very often during the past few months.... It fell out of escrow, (actually, we eventually gave a 24-hour notice and then cancelled---they were nuts), and now it is in escrow again with somebody else.....I am keeping everything crossed.. I bought a house in Windsor, CO.

I will be driving to Missoula in a few days......to get my girl.....
