Default shar needs help

I graduated with my masters in Social Work in 2005 and have been unable to find a job or someplace that will take me in to gain experience for free. If anyone can help me or know where I may be able to gain some work experience please let me know. Thanx

You may have picked a bad field to major in, not to belittle the field but the money ain't there. do you want a government job ? The real money seems to be in finance, real estate and technical manufacturing and company management. Are you young and just jumping off the branch so to speak or older and starting over ?

Where did you graduate from? Most universities will still let you use their career center for a nominal fee.

One of the first homework assignments in my Human Services class was comparing wages within our county vs. state. I can't speak for others, but I really don't think people have paychecks in mind while trying to better the system to help others. I was told by the state that I was crazy to persue this major - medical transcriptions paid lots more. (OK- you do that) I applaud anybody that even tries, because they care.
