Default Montana Camping

Howdy, I'm driving to Montana from Alaska at the end of the month to Baker to visit my brother. I was wondering where there are good camping spots along the way. I'm crossing at Sweetgrass and traveling thru Great Falls and over to Baker. Any suggestions would be appreciated....Thank you.

After Great Falls , hwy. 87/89, at Armington take 89 south through the belt mountains. After camping in the Belt Mountains hook up with Hwy 12 and head straight to Baker. Or continue south and hook up to I 90 and follow the Yellowstone river corridor, there should be some decent camping along the river somewhere. That way you could stop in Billings for some nice restaurant food before hooking up with 12 at miles city.

Thank you. It feels strange me being from Alaska driving down there, most of the people ask questions about driving here.
