Stay out of eastern montana. It's not for the type of people that need neighbors. It's desolate and inhospitable. The west side of the state is ok and you should do fine out there. Just don't emulate the retards coming out of the west coast and new england. Still waiting for the bag limit on them.

Default Eastern Oregon instead!!

Hello VA Nurse and family. Might we suggest that looking into a NE Oregon town called La Grande located in Union County. Check out http://www.visitlagrande.com]Union (broken link) County Tourism. It is a University town that has more banks and churches per capital than any neighboring area. There is a regional hospital here with ample recreational opportunities that match your description. Housing is very affordable with new subdivision construction taking place within one mile of the best elementry school in the district. It is also located near the golf course, Wal-Mart Superstore, and Interstate 84. Restaurants only stay in business if they provide quality food at affordable prices. Public services are good because of the great people they employ. This is a conservative ranching and farming community that works with the natural resources available. Try Google Earth to get a feel of the area. The camping is outstanding!
