Twin Bridges?

If you have the money, Madison County, the Ruby Valley area, Twin Bridges area, is one of the best areas to live in western Montana. You couldn't go wrong buying there. It has it's own secular feel there which makes it distinct from other counties in the nearby area. The old ranch homes have been beautifuly remodeled over the last ten, twelve years and ranching is still a big part of the economy there. The people have a major distain for the box store mentality and still have mostly family run businesses with a unique flair to them. The festivals in the summer months are some of the best in western Montana. From rodeo to fly fishing, art and the like, there's one around every corner there! Farmer markets are frequent and all over the place. If you like property with that 360 degree panoramic view, which some people like here, it's something to die for. The celebs will be there, too, but it's a good mix of all types of people. Good luck on your horse issues, can't help you there. The last time I rode one was high up in the Pintlers and she collapsed on me from the heat or the altitude or something.
