I would have thought that gas prices would be lower in Mt. why are they higher?

gas prices are different in the citys I believe along with a state gas tax which is evidently very high there are city gas taxes!!!! We wonder also why gas is sooo high here in billings mt???????????

today's price at the pump for regular unleaded was $2.98 here in Whitehall. It was $2.99 yesterday in Billings and Bozeman. That is right on par with the national average according to tonight's news.

I have just returned from 3 weeks in Montana and yes Deer Lodge, Butte and Anaconda are all sitting right at the 3.00 a gallon mark.
Was a nice change to fill up tonight at 2.79 a gallon here in Arizona. |
