I have 20+ years experience in all types of residential construction from concrete to roofing. I'm looking to relocate from Washington to Montana Flathead area and was wondering what there is in the construction market for jobs. Thanks for any info...

The local news in Missoula did a story on construction trends a week or so ago. It focused mostly on the Bitterroot but did do some comparison to all of western Montana. Here's the link:

Default work in western montana

Where is the best place to relocate in Montana for work? I have 20+yrs in construction industry and my fiancée has experience in the cosmetology field. Thanks for any info`

I don't have any first hand knowledge of how jobs are looking in either of these occupations, but in general you'll find more work in the bigger towns. Missoula, Bozeman, and Billings seem to have fared relatively well in the economic slump, although I'm doubting construction is looking rosy anywhere.
