I don't think much is known about them. Their secrecy has led to a lot of conspiracy theories over the years.

They loathe those striving for a better life, while trying to wheedle a better, easier deal for themselves usually via government at someone they don't know's expense.

Aside from being human nature to ***** and complain, it's really beneath us.
Well said!! More and more these are becoming my sentiments on my optimistic days.

The DVD sure gives a person plenty to think about. Plenty of documentation provided. I'm not the type to live in fear or let it run my life, but I'm glad I saw this.

Has anyone ever heard of this group and what they're working towards? I about fell out of my chair! Would love to hear from those who know about them. Believe me, it's appropriate for this thread. (And no, I'm not even close to being a conspiracy theorist!)
I can't view the video; can someone give us a quick synopsis?

Speaking of conspiracies, I'm reminded of this: anyone else heard of the "brown invasion"? Apparently this flood of illegals the U.S. is suffering from isn't entirely an unplanned nor spontaneous migration, but rather is encouraged by the powers that be in Latin America; the idea is to force everyone else out with the sheer mass of illegals from south of the US border, and thus eventually "own" all of North America. I was rather surprised, but have heard about it from several unrelated sources now, and given some of the statements and political actions by Mexico's leaders, I think there is something to it.

.

Who controls the British Crown?
Who keeps the metric system down?
We do, we do.
Who keeps Atlantis off the maps?
Who keeps the Martians under wraps?
We do, we do.
Who holds back the electric car?
Who makes Steve Guttenberg a star?
We do, we do.
Who robs cave fish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscar night?
We do, we do!

I think the reason it's taken as long as it has is two-fold:

1. The kinds of radical changes they want to implement would never be accepted by the American public. So, what they done is the "frog in boiling water" theory. Put the public in warm, comfortable water and then turn up the heat gradually so they don't know they're being boiled until it's too late. The DVD shows how this has been happening and people aren't aware of it.

2. As a Christian, I believe that the timeline of what they're doing has to follow biblical timelines. What BG is attempting couldn't possibly happen until very near the time of Jesus' return.

Try this link for the video. As for a blurb, check out the DVD's website.

Upon reading this Bilderberger stuff a few days ago here, and my favorite talk radio show host Hugh Hewitt scoff at the very name, I decided to apply my extraordiinary California brain to the issue.

After viewing all the youtube vid's, reading on Wikipedia, and several sites dedicated soley to promoting the conspiracy, my initial reactions are as follows:

1. All this ominous music scares the life out of me.
2. Taking speeches made by famous people out of context (Ike on the military industrial complex e.g.) is a bit of sleight of hand bait and switch that immediately should impeach the people making the material
3. the idea that 100 or 1000 powerful people meeting annually or quarterly to discuss money and politics should surprise or frighten me how? Of course people meet and talk. When I take companies offsite to discuss corporate strategy, we have a 'no talking out of school" policy, its meant to be an open and frank exchange, a work in progress. Anyone, ANYONE, having to be held accountable for their dumbest, least thought out ideas would look pretty darn silly. When trade associations of the companies I consult with meet, guess what, they maintain silence until consensus is reached. (PS Georg Stephanopoulus attending alone should make anyone realize these are not serious people lol)
4. Look, in our lifetimes we've all seen completely crazy urban myths promulgated, e.g, carberators that get 100 MPG, worms in fast food to save money, etc. This is nutter stuff. Ya got to get a grip. Turn off Art Bell, talk a walk in the sunshine, pet a dog, return to sender your 'end of world" tracts, don't focus on the Book of Revelations, it very nearly didn't make the cut in the books of the Bible anyway.

The world has real problems, but burrowing down these gopher holes gonna make you crazy. Relax and enjoy the fact the beauty of life, and the fact the world is better for your being here.
