Land Development Beaverhead/Madison Co MT
Hoping someone can give me a little local insight into SW MT. We've been in the Bitterroot going on 20 years now. We used to be "in the country" outside of town. Now we're surrounded by sub divisions. And the B4 lab doesn't make me feel too comfortable. Figure it's time to move on. All of Western Montana seems to be like this now so we're looking in other directions.
My husband and I would liketo be part of small community again, where everyone knows each other, and a few acres for our horses and dogs. I've been reading the forums, local papers, etc. and it sounds like the Beaverhead/Madison (Dillon, Lima, Twin Bridges, Sheridan) is still like that. Just started investigating and haven't had a chance to get over there yet. I'm sure there are other places as well - open to suggestions. And I've read a couple of articles referencing the uncontrolled growth in Ravalli Co. and how several counties have said they don't want it to happen there. Thanks for anything you can pass along.
