Default Moving to Montana

I'm a writer and journalist living in the Netherlands. My job is great and I'm working on my third novel. But it's so crowded here that I can barely breathe. Visiting Montana a couple of years ago, I fell in love with the country, and now I am seriously thinking of moving there. Any suggestion where should I start to find a job and buy a house? Any information is appreciated.

A little more info is needed before anyone can give a good suggestion. What kind of work do you need? Is being in a metro area important or within a certain distance? How remote do you want to be and what kind of climate would you like since there are several different weather areas here from colder than heck to more moderate. What kind of outdoor things do you like? Skiing, rafting, fishing etc. Do you want to be way off by yourself? Is high speed internet needed? Do you want to be by large parks?
