Default Montana.....it's the best.

I used to live in Great Falls, about 36 years ago, when my father was stationed at the base out there, The day we had to move, I was devastated, and I swore to myself that I'd make it back someday. Well, yesterday was that day. I swear, Montana is so beautiful, and so calming and just so perfect in my mind. The people are so friendly....and so naturally nice. We were looking for a motel to stay at, and the first one we tried, the lady there only had a non-smoking room, we wanted a smoking room, so we said that we would try someplace else. Well, it turns out that all the motels in town were completely full and we figured that by now the room at the other place would be gone too, but we went back and tried anyways. Our lucky day!!! She had held the room for us, figuring we'd be back even though we hadn't said that we would be! Where else could you find such hospitality??
I envy all of you, that call Montana home!!! You are so lucky to live where it is so open, and beautiful. I wish we could move there, but there's no work in my husbands job field. So, for now at least, Montana is just a beautiful dream in my heart.
