my boyfriend got a job in North Dakota in the oil industry. he'd be living in Sidney and after i finish school i'm going to go down there too. we're orriginally from the Athol, ID area. so ify ou could help that would be so great! XD

I really want to open up a coffee shop and my boyfriend says there's not much like that down there. is that true? is there a college near Sidney where students might go to a coffee shop?

i looked into Sidney a little but i couldnt find much. as far as the weather goes, i'm used to really cold temperatures and snow so that's not really a problem.

Are there parks and lakes near by?

if you could help me out that would be awesome! :] thank you so much!
~Leah

Well there are more local type shops, in the east here it is more black coffee and bacon.
However they are screaming for help in all types of food joints in ND, would that work for you?

You asked this question once on the Montana forum, but you are asking about relocating to the Sidney North Dakota area so I moved it to the North Dakota Forum. Is there a particular reason you are asking in Montana? Are you intending to live in something like Glendive or surrounding towns?

hey......my bf is living in lambert which is close to sidney I was recently there visiting him and there isn't much in sidney....or around. We actually drove 3 hours to minot nd one day so we could go to a mall and to a movie. there is a restaurant/bar in sidney that has pretty good food but I have heard some scary stories from when they had a few crews in town awhile ago. Some of the people were really nice and some well........not so friendly. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message. I am from a town of about 5000 in mn and we drive about a hour to get to a mall and a movie theater so driving a distance is normal for me to get somewhere but 3 hours was a little long.

Your post says Sidney North Dakota and I don't know why, but I was thinking Stanley. My mistake.
