Default Great Falls; what should we ask to see when we visit?

Hello again...I asked about the hospitals and healthcare in a previous thread....looks like my husband and I might be invited to come and take a look at Great Falls around the end of August/early September.

I'm researching as much as I can, and reading everything on this forum....but as I don't live there, thought I'd ask the people who do....anything I should ask to see while we are there? Anything fun or unique to the city going on during the last weeks of summer we could enjoy, or ask them to include on a tour?

Most importantly for my husband who loves to fish ( but never gets to anymore), is there a lake they can include on the tour, a place within driving distance?

Suggestions on what to wear clothing-wise, after interviews(shorts? does it get cool at night?) would be great as well, because most sites on climate are broad overviews; it isn't like living there.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing the city.
