Default Kalispell next month!

My husband recently accepted a job in Kalispell, MT, and he will start there in September. We were in Kalispell in July to look around. I've been there several times since I grew up in Idaho. We love Kalispell and are so looking forward to the move. We have spent the last 9 years in northern Nevada. I miss the trees, water, and wildlife.

My one concern is my employment. I work in higher education, and there are limited opportunities in Kalispell. However, I'm willing to look at other types of work too. I just hope I'm not stuck making $10 an hour somewhere with no other prospects. Can anyone shed some light on what the job market might be like for an educated person looking for a decent income?

We are waiting for our house in Nevada to sell, and when it does we will buy in Kalispell and settle in. We are really looking at it as our permanent home. I just hope I can make a living. Any thoughts are appreciated.

There are several new companies moving here, and the current job market is short on labor, long on companies looking. It would depend on what your education is in as to where you could make a good fit.
