Default Looking at Helena Montana

I think I talked hubby out of Ohio. My husband and I are getting ready to come out to Montana for a visit. After doing some research Helena is looking good. We are semi-retired and looking to move our photography buisness out of California. We are looking for a slower way of life, and green! We live in the desert now and just hate it. We have a young child and want her to grow up in an area that cherishes what God created. So definately we are not looking to come and change the area. What about Christian schools? Are there many non-denominational churches to check out. We won't be dependent on the income from the business to survive, so we won't need jobs before we can come. I am also a nurse (20 years in Labor and Delivery) now working in Hospice part-time which I may or may not want to continue. Is hospice very active out there? Besides Helena any other cities with low crime, good schools, laid back lifestyle, we might get some clients for our photography buisness. We do families, maternity, newborns, kids, high school seniors, really everything except weddings. Thanks for any input you can give me.

Helena is a very nice town. There is a Christian grade school and some non-denom churches. Mainline and Catholic churches are more prominent.

Unfortunately, hospice is a big deal here. There are many in Western Montana with cancerna dlung diseases.

Photography is a good business for the area as so much of what happens here is tourist oriented.
