I look on the bright side- No leaves to rake, lol. I do miss the deciduous trees and fall, but there so much comparable beauty here that it's hard to really get 'homesick' for scenery. Most times I really, really miss the friends I left behind in WV. There was more of a community bond compared to where I live now. Lot's of potluck's, church suppers, friends and neighbors butchering together. It may just be where I live, and of course I haven't lived here too long so I may not have met all those kinds of folks (I've met a few and they know who I mean! )

You'll find places outside of towns that you may like. To compare Farmington to something here close to Helena I would say Ellingston across the divide, maybe Wolf Creek farther to the north, or even Winston east of Helena.

Ever hear of a road called Manley Chapel Rd. outside Fairmont? That old chapel is owned by a friend of mine, by the same last name as the chapel. We all call him the preacher, lol.
