harlowton has 3 motels, the countryside inn would be my choice but none of the 3 is very fancy.there is another small old motel which now rents by the month as apartments, not fancy but pretty cheap, like $200 a month or thereabouts.they are all on hwy. 12.the corral motel has a decent resturaunt ,the sportsman inn right next to it on the road that takes you up to judith gap.judith gap has a decent cafe,a bar,and a little convienience store, thats about it.people swim and fish in deadmans basin about 25 miles east of harlowton.there is some national forest areas nearby.neither place is really a tourist destination.chrystal lake east of judith gap is nice.
