Questions for Eureka, MT residents
I've been house hunting in Kalispell for a month and recently went up to Eureka to take a look, and I fell in love with it. I am retired and looking for a peaceful place to settle. I would appreciate some information from those who live in Eureka.
I'm told that Kalispell is under a grey sky the entire winter. Is that also true of Eureka? Are you concerned about the long distance to medical care (especially in winter)? Is there any sense of community in Eureka, or does everyone pretty much stick to themselves?

I don't know if Eureka has internet yet... may not get some answers
 Don't forget to check out Polson and Whitefish areas... I personally loved Bigfork myself... If you've not hit those cities, be sure and check them out as well.

Ah, it's not that bad up there
 I think I've seen a few people post here that they are in Eureka, so I'll just keep hoping they appear.

My daughter and her husband and kids live in Eureka. She loves it. Me? Its to dang far away from anything.
 And my grandbabies are too dang far away from me  LOL.

Hi, We moved to Eureka exactly 3 years ago. It is a wonderful place to live seeing as we came from Chicago. I find the cloud cover during the winter is no different here than any other place. We have sunny cold days, cloudy cold days etc. I've recently had to travel back and forth to Whitefish and Kalispell for medical purposes. Since the traffic is so light it doesn't bother us. There are 2 wonderful doctors in town...a husband and wife team. If you need to know more just ask. We love it here!! Gayle
