There are some Rickers, I still see the occasional bum (I'm sorry, transient) standing out in front of wallyworld holding a sign with the generic plea for free money.... Though I guess in some states they consider that work.

I just saw a former neighbor of mine in Missoula yesterday and he is a full on street bum now. Crack cocaine turned him from a regular young dude to a ragged old looking derelict in just a few months ! When I said I don't know anyone who is out of work I'm not talking about these types. I meant normal people who can work and who want to work but can't find a job. The pay may not be the best but there are many jobs to be had in our area and nobody to fill them. We have *******s picking the rock now and nobody seems to be upset about it !

Job Boom
I think we should help the people on the streets. They are our brothers. My partner and I were touring New Mexico this summer. We met a very nice Latino family who were looking for work.
The previous poster is correct about Service jobs in Montana. We offered a family of seven a place to stay on our ranch until they could find work. They have plenty of experience in the Service industry.
Being kind and helpful is very rewarding.Just remember who said it was better to give than to receive.

I don't have ill feelings for honest folks looking for work but the street bums who ruined their own lives with drugs and booze are not interested in working or doing anything other than beg for free stuff. I have no empathy or pitty for them. Darwin is alive and well, and hard at work weeding out the misfits from the human gene pool. Go Darwin !

That's not an excuse, ask anyone who has quit smoking.

I'm not excusing anyone. But, for every *one* person who has quit there are 1000 that have been unable to do so.
I'm also not saying it's right, just saying have a little more consideration for others.
