Hi all,
As some of you may have read from my previous post, my wife and I have been thinking of relocating to Billings from the Gypsum, Co area (did not include that in the first post)

I have been doing pretty well as an Environmental Tech on the Western Slope here in CO (air, water quality, compliance stuff) working in areas of natural gas production (which abound in W. CO)

My question is
1) Are there areas of production around Billings (I am pretty sure there are)?

2) And does anyone out there know of any companies which contract on the environmental end for the producers (ie Exxon, Mobile etc)?

I know that I can find out answers to these questions via the web, but thought some one on this very informative forum might be able to share some info

Thanks again

The refineries in Great Falls might be a place to look as well.

Default Refineries

There are 3 refineries in Billings. Conoco & Exxon are in Billings and Cenex is in Laurel. I'm not familiar with the particular jobs there, but I know that here in Laurel that people who work at "the refinery" make good money in general. Might be something for you to look into! Best wishes!
