I am from Montana, and am now happy to be a Michigander! They really missed the boat on that one. People will be outraged, and hopefully will not give up searching for the real persons responsible for that murder. I for one thought he would be set free for sure. Hope all those involved are haunted by what they have done for their "life sentences!"

I think there should have been more involvement by the FBI. The Father/ police officer of one of the suspected girls should have never been allowed on the case. The FBI SHOULD REOPEN THE CASE ON THE GROUNDS OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST BY A POLICE OFFICER.Why did it take 3 years to bring the" killer" to justice , when everyone knew it was the " girls"?

If all those involved with Kim's murder and the countless others that followed her death for what they saw and heard were put in prison where they belong and Barry's set free then maybe the businesses you'd like to come to Poplar would feel safe enough to be there! Until then I don't think there's much hope for your town. A better place to live? Crazy Bull, Burshia, Buckles a war veteran on leave and those two poor girls who were just raped says it all. That's just within the last month.

When someone's arrested on the reservation I don't think a slap on the hand fine of $25.00 does anything. Ask Barry Beach how honest your officials are in that town of yours and those in the AG's office. Why is a prime suspect in Kim's brutal murder; former prison inmate's sister the sitting judge on your tribal court? Cover-up is as cover-up does!
