Wow GMan. That must be a really wet snow to pack that well. I spend a lot of time up around Durango, and there you can't even make a good snowball unless you warm the snow in your hands for a while. Is that normal in your area? Where were those taken?

Oh no, this snow is as dry as can be along the Front! My kid got a snow block maker (basically a plastic block with a handle and two holes in it) for Christmas so we thought we'd try it out. You pack the snow in hard enough and it sticks but I'm afraid it wouldn't hold up too well to a snow ball attack!
