Relocating from Florida to Montana
I am interested in relocating from Jupiter, Palm Beach County, Florida to Eureka, Lincoln County, Montana.
So, I was wondering what the employment prospects are like in raport to the cost of living. I've never been there, but I lived in Linz, Austria before 1995. I am flexible: from teaching and tutoring to mechanical engineering and renewable energy consulting; from architecture and home remodeling to finance and Real Estate. Possible one bedroom apartment or similar smoll accomodation to rent for the first year or two.
You might wonder why I want to leave Florida. Well, my daughter become a nurse and love Seattle, Washington. So, after twelve years in Florida's hot summers and warm winters, I am ready for the crisp mountain air, again. I love the outdoors, and the National Parks more then the city life.
Any tips about jobs offer in the area would be greatly appreciated. Entrepreneurs, Developers and Private Schools wellcome!
My Real Estate experience in South East Florida could be of help if you want to invest in the Florida lifestyle. As a token, here is a financing secret to enjoy life like the 700+ credit score club. We have refinance our home in Jupiter, Florida, using the HELOC "asets management account", but you may purchase with this system equivalent to a lower interest then the best possible fix rate with a conventional type of loan and pay ten years faster with about the same payment.

Howdy, just so you know, Eureka is remote, not Florida remote but real remote. It has about a thousand people in it and it's over an hour away from a real town and that real town is about 5 hours to what a Floridian would consider a real town. And yes it get's cold there but you can get used to that. The real question is, can you deal with three feet of snow and the extreme boredom that comes with isolated places like Eureka. I know they just got there main street paved not too long ago. Well, one upside, for sure it's beautiful and I suppose over time, the rich people will discover it too.

Already did. Have you seen the property values there lately? Very expensive for such a remote place. I think Canadians are buying it all up.......
