Question You folks have room for another ?

Hi,
I have been looking to relocate my family to your beautiful state. I/m basically looking for info on lifestyle and job possiblities. My wife and I are both in health care. I'm aware the avg income is less than New England but the prospect of raising my kids and living a more wholesome and healthy life certainly trump that. Any help or opinions are welcome and thank you.

Rob and Rebecca,

You are both very fortunate in that health care is needed everywhere and certainly much needed in Montana. That means, you pretty much have your pick of anywhere you would like to live. The only thing you have to figure out now, is just where that is. We can use people in your profession here in Montana so by all means, come ahead. I see jobs in health care advertised all the time in Butte, Bozeman, even Whitehall School dept is looking for a school nurse. You won't make as much money, but the quality of life should be worth something for sure.

Yes there is a real need for health care professionals in MT. I hope you will consider the NE corner to the state too --- it is very nice here and there is a great hospital, schools and community. The hospital and clinic is always looking for doctors, nurses, or any other health care -- it is a very up to date hospital and draws very a large area. Cost of living is much less here and so is housing etc. Great schools with among top rated test scores in the state. Community is very progressive and active -- just new in the last few years -- ice hockey rink, skateboard pare, coming soon large indoor swimming pool as well as wind farm, possible oil refinery. Lots of great recreation here alos with Fort Peck Lake, hunting, fishing, interpretive center, dinosaur digs etc.
If you would like more info please don't hesitate to ask -- I can give you name of hospital and administrator as well as principles names. Good Luck!
PS: Not knocking the western part of the state but if you are moving to get away from people, high prices, busy lifestyle, crime etc. then look at this area also.
