Needing info-help pls.
I have been reading post for different areas in Montana Billings, Bozeman ect ect, and I keep hearing about snakes and especially spiders are there that much there. My friend that lives there says nothing of the sort. Is this true?? If anyone lives there pls reply My family is looking for a nice laid back place to go were people are general nice, more slower of a pace. Beautiful views!!! Nice snowey weather, nice summers and springs. My daughter loves horses, would like to find a decent home in the 180 range w/ property for a horse or too, Is this all unrealistic?? Any input would be well appricated. Thanks KS.

Snakes and spiders in Montana really aren't any worse than anywhere else in the west.
There are rattle snakes, hobo spiders and a few black widows. Not a big deal compared to most other states. As far as property prices go, you may get lucky and find what you want closer in, but for that money your luck would have to be pretty good. Of coarse the farther out you get the prices go down. No available jobs = lower property values !
Just google name of town along with the key words, real estate, properties etc. and you'll find many realtors with websites. That way you can window shop for a place from your computer desk and get a better idea about what is realistic for this area.
