Red Lodge is BEAUTIFUL. I have only been down there a couple of times since we moved to Fishtail, and can't wait to explore the shops and spend more time there.
I actually have DSL high speed internet out here on the middle of a ranch, down a 4 mile gravel road in a town with a population of less than 100. So, for the OP, check with the local phone companies to see what services are available, you might be surprised.
Stillwater and Carbon counties are just gorgeous, and the people are very friendly, especially from what I have experienced in Fishtail and Absarokee. We love it here.
