Now both are mounted I just need to commission the cabling which isn't too difficult.

A session with the soldering iron, some heat shrink and electrician's tape has an extra 25 feet of 12 grade wire on each going to the power tent!

That's all for now folks!

The back wall is now almost ready!

Storeroom's walls up!

Made a real hatchet job of this doorway though...

Here's the rest of the store's wall...

For those last two images I had to set my mitre to nearly 20 degrees for the uprights to tie in at the right angle. Until the generator was fixed I was going to a neighbors place to work the walls using measurements taken from the cabin.

Now the door frames are up, along with a 4x8 board too!

It's the tight elevated crannys and nooks that are the most challenging in some ways. Even with my orbiter attachment, getting the screws to drill in is a PITA.

The Main doorway will be a toughie, I have to remove some mold from the left-hand post first, but the right-hand one has a door pillar at least. I used an 8 inch 1/2 thick lag screw for that one along with some six inch 3/8 ones...

It's often wise to change jobs when building, otherwise it can damage morale via burn-out.

With that in mind I switched to completing the French Drains. It took another 4 buckets of gravel and some rocks to bury the remainder that was left.

The upright pipe is for inspections and I wedged it in with rocks. Here it is ready for duty...

Now it's the turn of the front walls! These are the first ones with a window-sill frame to do, making it more of a challenge!

Depending on the configuration of the window framing, will determine the measurements needed. I waste two 2x4s due to not allowing for the 1 1/2 inch extra needed.

After a few hours of trial and error, the walls are raised and in position...

I am making good progress, only another two walls to go, then I will get the boards, membrane and other plumbing parts sourced...

Maybe on the next bigger cabin I'll go old school...

Looking good Baron!

One of my neighbors has a modified bear trap as his front door handle to his cabin. Looks really cool.

Ok folks,

The walls are almost done, worked on the outhouse and other stuff. Really busy, pictures to follow in the next few days.
