Hello all,
I am considering purchasing a business in Big Sky and would like some info. I have spent time in MT, Big Sky, Red Lodge and the Bitterroot Valley vacationing skiing, fishing, camping, hiking and such. I lived and worked in the Colorado Rockies for a few year and want to return to the mountain life. We live an outdoor life and would love to raise our children this way. I currently live in small town Minnesota. Married with 1 1/2 yr old and one on the way. I have no idea about the education system in the Big Sky area. Can anyone tell me about where kids would attend school and any opinions of the school system. I appreciate any help. Thank you in advance. Chad |

The school in Big Sky is called Ophir School, and I believe it's either K-8 and bus the HS kids to Bozeman or it might be K-12. There has been some talk about building a high school in Big Sky.
You better have a money tree if you want to live in Big Sky. |
