I am looking for any help in tracking down a local online bulletin board etc for finding a person to hire that could watch my dog for approximately 3-5 hours on two days.

I placed an ad on Craigslist 2 weeks ago and got 0 replies.

I have asked my hotel amd nada.

Any locals have any tips for finding someone?

Thank you

Ask Ernie on facebook for advice, under "Ernie's West Yellowstone". He has some decent photos.

You may have to drive your pooch up to Gallatin Gateway or Bozeman:

Doggie Daycare & Motel Gallatin Gateway, MT 59730 - YP.com
Doggie Daycare & Motel Bozeman, MT 59718 - YP.com
https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopi...k_Wyoming.html

I'm not local by any means (we spend much of our lives en route between North Idaho and SoCal ), but we go through similar searches from time to time.
Good luck, and have a great road trip!

Thank you everyone,

I realized I posted on the wrong CL area, my mind was overloaded.

I'll check Ernie and replace the ad and keep CFF's suggestions as back up.

Thank you!!!!

Maybe I should post in Idaho CL? Is Island Park closer to West Yellowstone?

If you live in West which Craigslist would you look on?

Any advice from locals would be appreciated.

Thank you

The closest dog sitting service in Idaho seems to be in Driggs, quite a distance from West Y. Hope the local number works out. You might want to ask over in the Idaho Falls forum, lots of dog people there, too!
