Some questions on work in GF. Looking for local truck driving work ( like to be home everynight ) or running heavy equipment, or working out of a concrete plant, or quarry. I think Great Falls might have what we are looking for, so I need to explore the town, and county some more.

I've had a few good offers in Bozeman, but way too expensive. I had a good offer in Meeteetse, WY, but we thought it might be too small ( pop. 347 ) so now we are looking at GF as a good possibility. Other possibilities are Cody or Powell, WY. Though the volcano in yellowstone worries me a little and it probably should not, and finally theres a few places in north, and central PA that we are looking at. Hopefully we can make a decision by July, and get settled down before school starts.

You can look at James Talcott Construction, Great Falls Redi-Mix, United Materials, Dick Anderson Construction, Liggett Construction, Sletten Construction, .... these would be a few places to start looking here in Great Falls.

United Materials pays out some great benefits and owns the largest asphalt plant in the state..... they also do sand and gravel and batch concrete.....

Thanks GSG for the info, I looked up some numbers, and will make some calls tomorrow. From there I'll start looking at the rental market, and then try to get a feel for the real estate in the area.

Again Thanks

No trouble at all....

And an update on Great Falls, Montana:

Great Falls is soon to regain it's rightful place in Montana as being the state's second largest city next to Billings.

Annexation plans are underway to include Malmstrom Air Force Base, which will add just over 4,000 new residents to the city.

Once again, the two largest, and the most friendly cities in Montana will be located "east" of the CD.
