Butte vs. Missoula?
I have to ask, why would you look at Butte up front? Are the jobs you are looking at in medical and heavy equipment higher in Butte?
Not that it's the main issue I'd disregard an area for, but Butte is Butt Ugly. Have you ever visited? It's arguably the ugliest of the larger towns in MT.
Missoula I'm guessing has better opportunities in the medical field. It is the most Left-leaning in the state so depending on your political preferences you may or may not appreciate the vibe there.
