I to am looking at possibly relocating there to Kalispell. I was born and raised in the Boise area and lived there until almost 4 years ago. Moved over to Western Wa and now I have a job offer over there and considering the move. My family and I live for the outdoors. We all ride quads, fish and hunt. Can anyone give comments on how open it is to ride the quads and the hunting in the mtns near there?

How about you can license them for the street here, that should be open enough.... As long as they have lights, mirror and horn you can ride them all day long anywhere you want. We liked it because if you felt like taking a little jaunt in the woods all you had to do was jump on and go instead of loading up everything and making a big production out of it. As for hunting, pretty much within 10 minutes of anywhere in the valley.

There are quite a few, but thats everywhere. There are a few bad ones, but mostly it looks like the 19 year old guy with a 16 or 17yo girlfriend kind of stuff.
