Hello All,
I was just wondering what folks in Montana thought of this Canamex Highway that will run right through the state? Are there people opposed to the plans that will create a trade route right through the best parts of this country? Any opinions would be appreciated, and if you are one of the folks who don't believe the possibiility of this highway check out CANAMEX Corridor Thanks in advance for your opinions |

Well most of the route is already in place from Idaho south a few spots in Az still to be decided.
Currently Live in Kingman and nothing to get excited about in regards to this route. I don't see any need to get out of control if its going to happen its going to happen. |

I understand those highways are already in place but the plans are for them to be widened which would lead to a land grab wouldn't it? The highway is financed by Spain's government, it would be a toll road and Spain would be collecting that revenue. This highway also allows for the dissolution of the borders which would inundate this country with even more immigrants. The Nasco Super Corridor Welcome to NAIPN - North American Inland Ports Network cuts through the Eastern end of Montana, and all through the Midwest with its origin in Mexico. They are fighting this pretty hard down in Texas, the folks don't want to lose their land and farms. I was just curious if there was the same sentiment in Montana.

No it's Mexico. There's even a Mexican customs place being built in Kansas CIty (MO side I think). THe corridor will be for Mexican trucks to go through the US and to Canada. Most likely it'll be off limits to most average US drivers. They're going to take an enormous swath of land across the country for this, just to further destroy our economy and give more jobs and money to mexico. And I oppose free trade, it offers no benefits to the average American. Likewise I oppose global government and the NAU being created. We've been sold out to a bunch of greedy banks and corporations, just as Jefferson warned we would if we followed this path started by Hamilton of big banks/free trade/etc. Our liberties will be washed away too as it progresses. For example, the RealID Act, was made to create a tri-national ID card. The information of all the ID's will be put in a database, shared with mexico and Canada, and both of those two countries have or will have similar rules, creating, as I said, a tri-national ID card, in preparation for the NAU.

Mexican customs in KC? That sounds like a bad idea also. I've heard of the RealID act too. That act is way to big brothery for me. It's aggravating to watch how they try to pass these laws, and if they fail, they keep looking for ways to trick or scam these new creepy laws in. Remember a law is only an idea, agreed upon by a group of people. It's only as good as the people who follow it. When the group that decides what becomes law becomes corrupt, it's the job of the governed to stand up and make it right. Last edited by Timberwolf232; 03-12-2008 at 04:42 PM. |

Leaving aside for a moment whether we like these type of trends or not, a little discussion of the forces at work is at least interesting. As background, I am just about to fly back to the USA from Japan-Korea-Italy leg after my second trip around the world since the first of the year on "globalization" related business. I listen very carefully to people throughout the world just like us concerning their hopes and fears.
The world appears to be breaking into 3 spheres of power with powers being 1. USA (population 300M) 2. The European Union (approx 700M eventually) 3. China (1.2 billion people). There will be races to bring secondary, resource rich countries into one of these 3 speres of influence. Now from my point of view, having Mexico and Canada as our closest, most valuable allies in this "NWO" seems desirable. The EU countries like Germany are so rich compared to say Romania, it is comparable to our USA-Mexico concerns. However, if you are a German business you have two choices a. outsource some of the work to Romania for the cheap labor and keep what you can in assembly, profits and logistics in German, or, b. lose it all completely and rapidly to China. Believe me these countries fear and hate these trends far, far worse than the average American, but they clearly recognize there are no choices. The choices these secondary powers (Brazil, India, Russia for example) make in terms of who they ally with is still up for grabs. I will not bore you ( much MORE lol) with the criteria for picking sides, but enough to say, Mexico "getting well" is being watched carefully throughout the world. Now personally I believe completely in a "fortress America" military posture as I trust none of these countries, or the UN, or the ideologies that motivate them. I believe any of the single world government ploys, global warming silliness for example, are to be avoided to keep our unique culture and security. But economically....the laws of economics are stronger than any of us, we have to shape our future on some global economy understanding. |
