thompson falls? (Missoula, Kalispell, Plains: school, living, moving to)

My husband and I are thinking about moving to Thompson Falls. Is it a very nice place? Is there much for the kids to do (I have 2, ages 7 and 2). My daughter (7 year old) has been dancing for 4 years and I would like to keep her in it, is there anything like that close by? Anything you can tell me is much appreciated.

Hi; I am wondering where you are now, 2 years later... Most activities will be difficult to find here unless it is associated with the school or 4-h, scouts, etc... There was or is a dance instructor in Trout Creek. The location of TF pretty much preclude driving to the city on a regular basis for the amenities... Missoula is about 2hrs one way, same for Kalispell and Sandpoint, ID.
This may be to little to late, but here it is... best to move to the cities that have what you want, most of us small town folks like the small town atmosphere, and like it kept that way. I do remember when (many years ago), as a first grader in Plains Mt, (about 23 miles from TF), we had dancing classes, and then a few years later baton classes, had to be special people living there who taught us. You learn to just take advantage of what the area has to offer, and adjust your wants and needs to fit that.
