my wife has always wanted to move to montana and im just ondering how the job field is over there is there alo of options

Unemployment in Montana is well below the National average, something less than 4%, but it's not uniform. There are plenty of places where jobs are hard to come by.

Depends on what you do. And my advice is to land the job before you move here.

Also depends on how much income you want from your job. People always say (nowadays) jobs are plentiful but most are relatively low on the payscale. So in part depends on what kind of job you need to have to afford a house. In the prettier parts of the state, the jobs usually don't pay enough to afford housing.

If you are serious about moving to Montana, you need to research jobs and pay scales. Then find out about the cost of living in the town where your job would be (or near it). Keep in mind if you commute, the winters can be intense. roads are known to be closed.
