Geraldine Montana (pop 300)is an awesome place to live and they seem to be in need of teachers very often. The town is centered around the school and activities - like sports. I also have a teen son. and two teen daughters so understand what you are looking for. We love it here. The local superintendent is great. His name is Rod Simpson. Tell him Mike sent you - Our kids were even able to earn a little extra money this summer working for the school - they loved it. Housing is very affordable - On Fort benton realty site you can find a four bedroom brick house for 50,000. [cut]

Hi, sorry for the late reply! I appreciate the info and my son and I have been making calls and doing online checks and such. We are in one of our 3 week intersessions ( year round school) so we are using this time to travel as much as possible. Thanks so much to all who take the time to reply and give us such wonderful info and support.
Kat

Many Indian reservations seem to be in constant need of teachers.
