NewInBozeman is on a distinguished road
Default Just moved to Bozeman

My Boyfriend and I moved to town very recently from the East Coast and are hoping to get involved in the community as a way to meet new people and make friends. At the moment, we don't know anyone aside from each other. I found a 'Newcomer's Club' but it seems a little costly and since we're pretty young (mid-20s) not really sure it is what we're looking for.
Any thoughts?

One of the best ways to meet people is at a local church or parish. Try it!

Timberwolf232 will become famous soon enough
You could volunteer at the food bank, there are lots of younger people helping out there. Also check out MSU there is always a lot going on on campus.

Go to a bar?

And yeah, take a course at MSU. the SOB Barn offers a few outdoorsy type things every spring.

Montana State University <-- I think somewhere off there you can find the SOB Barn's site, or offerings.

Welcome to Bozeman.

Thank you all very much. All very helpful.
It is the hard part of moving to a new location...I doubt (hope) that in a month or so it will even be an issue!

Bozeman is beautiful, and everyone we've had contact with has been wonderful. This is a great town. : D

Welcome - I live here too, but am in a different demographic (30s, married, kids).

Great places to meet people if you are outdoorsy, which I suspect you are, is to go to Northern Lights Trading Company and check out the activities posted in the entrance.

Also check out Outside Bozeman online for clubs you might like (bikes, horses, etc.)

When the snow is gone and the Art Walks start, plenty of people to meet.
