Still doing clean up. If you get a place up there, be sure to find out if it's been inspected and taken care of by the EPA yet. Believe me when I tell you, it can get really stressful when they come in and rip up your lawn, trees and garden because you have timiculite in your yard. That's not even the worst case scenerio. The worst part is when it's in you walls and ceilling, but I think they've already hit those places. They've be mainly working on yard work these days. afterwords they do replace what they rip up, but it takes a while for grass to grow. It's not the best grass they use either. It kind of grows in spots. You stay in a hotel while they do this. It took a few weeks for them to work on my parents lawn. Their yard is still not the same and it's been a little over two years.

I worked with asbestos materials for many years and I'm now over 60 years old without any symptoms. Vermiculite is not as dangerous as the EPA would have you believe. For decades it was used in the flower industry as a packing materiel and in potted plants. I don't remember ever hearing about any of those workers contracting cancer.

Due to the (behind the scenes work on ObamaCare) of Sen. Max Baucus (D-Montana), Libby area residents will be enrolled in Medicare and eligible for low cost private health insurance plans - one of very few places in the nation to receive such special treatment.

As I read it, it is a type of double coverage for the folks with a diagnosed condition.
Maybe easier for billing?

Maybe a more populated area first then do some travel in the state in all seasons, just my opinion, as for me I am farrrrrr east

"The health care law contains a clause that opens Medicare to anyone diagnosed with an asbestos-related disease who stayed in Lincoln County a total of six months over a 10-year period. Even those who have never worked - and so never paid into Social Security - are eligible."

Sorry - that's not fair to those of us, who worked with the stuff for 30 years, never got sick and paid into SS!

I genuinely hope you find a place to move that works out for you.
However, unless you expand your research to find out that you are planning on a MYOCARDIAL valve repair, I cannot grant you surgery privileges in any Montana hospital.
