Exclamation My wish is to move to Montana BUT

I have three teen boys to bring along. Any one out there need a cook and farm help near a town, (schools) for a small wage and housing.?
I am serious. The almighty dollar isnt the only way to wager things in this great country.
I personally am stuck near Chicago, (yuck) IL. We stayed out West on vacation one year and I love it, my goal is to get there, so my 8th grade boy can go to UofM to study dinosaur excavation. And mining. I wish personally to just work on a farm with cooking, or general chores.
I am for real. And a good, honest (no criminal history) person. I grew up in a town of 500.

Take a look at the Dailyinterlake.com, there are some job openings on guest ranches in there at the moment.

There are a plethora of "dude ranches" in the Livingston, Big Timber and Bozeman areas. The 63 Ranch and OTO come to mind. Give them a call or search the internet for those names.

Good luck.

Tom

Default Moving to Montana

I just read your March 2008 entry on city-data.com. Are you still looking to move to Montana? I live in a small eastern Montana town and we are looking for people and kids to move to our town, for the sake of our town and our school. This is a serious inquiry and thank you in advance for your response.

Just curious, where are you?

I like those little eastern prairie farm towns, the very kind that are dying back nowadays, but I can't make a living there

It's because we're all old fogies here, so we have old threads. Or so the kids tell us.

I prefer the term, gently used. BTW I don't see many prairie towns advertising for folks to move in.

It just takes that long for people outside the state to read anything we post. I guess it's true, we do lag at least 6 months behind the rest of the nation.
