Default flukey weather in April

In Germany we have the flukey weather of April...sunshine, rain and snow....though most of the huge snowpiles are now tiny mounds of black frozen sludge. Does this also happen in Montana?

As it happens yes, that's pretty much what's going on now. Snowed lightly almost all day yesterday, started as a coating on the ground then warmed and melted.

Here in Montana, we have a saying: "if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes..."

pretty much sums it up.........

Today we got 6 inches of partly cloudy. haha It's an old joke. Weather guesser says partly cloudy and visibility is about 100 feet.

I should probably mention that April snow in SW MT is normal, not a fluke. In fact, Bozeman records more snow than rain, in an average April.

April snowshowers give way to May showers which in turn give way to June flowers
