Free city lots in Kansas? Probabaly would never move there and build a new home, but I'm curious to know about it.

If you are a waterfowl or upland game bird hunter, you will enjoy most places in the state. Laurel is a nice place in eastern Montana and you are right next to Billings. Miles City is alright, you do have to go about an hour and a half for shopping in Billings. Glendive is also not a bad place, you will do your shopping in Bismarck. Billings and Great Falls are the "big cities" in that area but keep in mind it is very sparsely populated in general.

Actually that is Poplar, not very far at all from Wolf Point though. Still living up to it's reputation.
I would just stay away from the Fort Peck Reservation in general. I've lived here all my life, and in a nutshell, it sucks.

I lived on the Flathead Reservation for eleven years and now live in north central Montana. What a relief it is to be away from that drunken dung hole. Western Montana sucks big time these days. Folks from the deep south would laugh at me but I can't deal with the mugginess in the western valleys. I would choose a dusty little dying town in eastern or central Montana over the Californicated side any time.
