Default Comparison?

Would anyone (who has spent some time in each place) be interested in making some comparisons between MT and other Rocky Mtn states such as CO, WY, ID? I know that's a broad request, but approach it as you'd like. If you want to compare costs of living, people's attitudes, weather, natural beauty, whatever... I'd be interested to hear your opinions.

One thing I have noticed (while window-shopping for realestate bargains) is that Montana is the only one of those states that is still somewhat affordable, except for those few "Californicated" places such as the Flathead and Missoula valley areas and Bozoman of coarse !

Daughter and her husband just bought a house. About 2000 sq ft. Detached garage. $130,000. Older house, but solid. Exterior is stucko. Basement is unfinished. 3 bedroom, 2 bath. They say things are overpriced around here. Course overpriced is a relative term. hahaha
