Cool Summer is about to POP !

Gotta get those bike tires patched and those outboard motors tuned up ! A few of my maps need replaced and some fresh line on my fishing reels and I'm ready for summer. Anyone else planning to spend a lot of time fishing in Montana this summer ? Share your favorite fishing holes with us, OK !
Yea right, wishful thinking !

I'll be starting my new job in Montana on Monday. One of the first things I sent down to myself was a fishing pole and my firearms.

Yep! As soon as my shoulder heals up (about 6 weeks from now) I plan on a whole lot of floating and fishing. Got a new reel when Army/Navy closed it's store so all I've got to do is load it up, inflate the two man 'toon and we're off!!!
80's forcasted for the end of next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good high fast water is my favorite time to float although the fishing isn't the greatest during the period when the rivers are all blown up. Summer is just too darn short !

For sure... I was out by the east boulder over the weekend and it was pretty muddy. Run-off has started for sure.
The Gallatin was muddy when I drove over last week, not sure how the Madison and Jefferson look. I'd imagine more of the same this time of year.
