Absarokee (schools, living in, restaurant)

We are currently living in eastern Montana. We're wondering what Absarokee is like. Too trendy/expensive. We're a young family interested in farming. Anything about the area would be appreciated.

Absarokee is a small town. There is an IGA, two bars in town one of which also is a restaurant, numerous trinket type shops, K thru 12 schools. This is more of a ranching type community with little or no farming opportunities. Stillwater Mine is located 31 miles south of here. Land and housing is not cheap but it is not ungodly high either. The hunting around the area is good and so is the fishing.
