It's on a lake. It's destination. What more information is needed?

Disagree, fine. Baseless accusations such as "they wouldn't hire me because I wasn't related to them" is just inflammatory and used solely as a means to bias the readers against Montana.

You have no way to prove that, so it's just supposition on your part jaundiced by your deep dislike of this state. You live in North Dakota, why come to this board except to try and denigrate the state?
Do you guys have hunter harrassment laws? (and are they enforced)

I've seen some hunting\fishing videos on youtube where they've arrested people for that but the laws will vary by state.

Yes, and Yes.
Pretty serious about it too.
Montana has 11 big game species, at least a dozen upland bird species, we sit astride both the central and pacific flyways for waterfowl, and our trout fishing is renowned all over the world, not to mention multiple other fish species.

Hunting and fishing are big business here, as well as we are one of the highest per capita states for numbers of hunters and fishermen licensed in the country.

Antis are a pain in the butt, and the FWP doesn't want to lose that license money, and the legislators don't want to lose the taxes, so the hunter harassment laws are strong and strictly enforced.

Trespass laws are also enforced if the antis go on private land to harass hunters and fishermen too.

Plenty of properties and homes nowhere near any lakes have also doubled.

Yes, that about sums up Montana. At least the pretty parts. It's a well known fact rich people are attracted to lakes and ski resorts. They also like mountains.

This happened recently. Sad situation, didn't have to happen.

I don't mind seeing Whitefish get a black eye every now and then ... the place is more than deserving.

Does any of that have to happen though? I'm no fan of Whitefish but getting that kind of black eye seems a bit much.
